Nile Agricultural Ind. Co. (AGA) is probably the most modern manufacture in Egypt industry. The company was funded in 1982 with aspire to produce & distribute processed food products for retail & food-service-sector.
The primary driving forces behind the establishment is Egypt social dynamic & lifestyle changes along with the growing demands of the food industry due to the fast growing demands of the food-service-sector.

Nile Agricultural Ind. Co. (AGA) is a privately owned company (SAE). It was funded in 1982 with authorized capital of L.E 30 million & issued capital of L.E. 20 million.

Quality :
HACCP, ISO are popular phrases within the food industry. At AGA standardize everything from recipes to ingredients & routines. Raw materials are specified order & controlled upon the arrival. The quality control staff has full authority to reject ingredients & work in process.

The market trends are influenced by the foreign lifestyle, better education, changes in family income, less frequent food shopping & improving distribution systems.
A fleet of company-owned trucks distribute the company’s products throughout Egypt’s cities, towns, and villages.
A number of major distributors located in the Sinai Peninsula and Red Sea distribute the company’s products there.
Export :
In 1982 AGA was exporting about 10% of the total production volume most of the percentage was directed to the Arabian Countries, putting into consideration that frozen vegetables & pouches were the only products AGA was producing. AGA products range now is huge more that 70 products under four main categories :
- Juices (Pouches, 250ml, Cans &1 liter).
- Frozen Vegetables.
- Jams (Portion – 380 gr. - 900 gr.)
- Pickles (Tines- Jars).
Due to the fast growing demand for AGA products, the production volume has been doubles several times. AGA was exports now about 65% of the production volume all over the world. AGA was exporting to Europe about 10% of the total production volume in 2003, in 2004 AGA exported about 25%, after doubling the production volume.
Due to the AGA export expanding plan, new markets were conquered in 2004 such as Sweden, Switzerland , Greece , Italy, France , Canada, Palestine, Austria , Romania, Australia, Sudan, Moriches....etc. we looking to expand more in Africa & Asia.
